When i first saw him more than 20 years ago, i was warned to stay away from him. I chose to ignore that warn and fate has it i ended up marrying him ha ha ha......Saw him first time with a group of friends, and by the time i talked to him the first time, his hair was longer than mine. I knew he cooked but only knew he cooked quite good a few months before i left for home from the States. He in fact introduced me to cabbage curry, never eaten that before i met him.
Why lucky?....When we got our first son, we never really discussed how to tackle the daily house chores as both of us were working. We had a wonderful baby sitter at that time. We send our first boy to her in the morning, and fetch him home mostly around 6 - 7 pm daily, depending on the traffic on the notorious Jalan Genting Kelang that time....if we felt like eating out, we would have our dinner first, then fetch the boy. If we wanted to eat at home, after fetching the boy, we would stopped at one of the many shops near our place along Jalan Gombak and bought the necessary to cook for dinner. Most of the time, i would do the cooking, and he would play with the son. Or he would cook and i would be the one layanin the boys. I heard so many ladies complained about the hubbies just sat on a sofa reading newspapers when they had to cook and took care of the children at the same time. So, dear hubby is quite at ease in the kitchen or take care of the boys. On and off when the mood strike, he would volunteer to cook for the whole family. And he cooked this wonderful nasi lemak and the eggs sambal from the many eggs that we got on one weekend last month from a few weddings that we went to. He cooks a lot actually but i just dont have the picture except for these ones......Enjoy the pictures ......

Guitars, carrot cake and golden rose.....
This is my husband's little corner in our bedroom. The 3 guitars are his wives ha ha ha...so quota is full. This is where my hubby release his tension away after a long hard day in the office. I forgot to take picture of his high chair where he sits on when he plays one of the guitar.
Carrot cake with cream cheese topping seemed to be the favorite among older generation. I was told that many distant older relatives in Kuala Pilah love this cake.
After reading this and an old posting reply by my sifu, i tried my luck to make gold rose from fondant, and this is the result. I think i got the color right...what do you think?

Mee curry and guitar......
On Saturday night, my hubby and i had our outing without the kids. We went to Ju*co in Seremban 2 and browsed the bathroom fittings area. Half an hour later we ended sitting at one Kopitiam in the mall and my husband had a bowl of delicious curry mee. Yours truly had toast with chicken curry. Apologised for the mee curry picture as i used my crappy hand phone camera.
And i am introducing my husband's 2nd wife ha ha ha.....Beautiful aint it? I love to hear him plays his guitars almost daily. He will at least strumming the guitars for 2o minutes after long hard day in the office. He has 2 others beside this but this is so far the 'prettiest', see quota is full already ha ha ha. I remember how he lugged this beauty in the monorail from Bukit Bintang station to the one near the Maju Junction .....and mind you he doesn't play sentimental song with this baby ......
