Finally....it died on me

After almost 15 years, this faithful washing machine of mine finally gave out its last breath. See how faded the writing on it and some even totally gone. I remember we bought this machine just after we got married. We got it at the shop in one of the shop along Jalan Sentul. It never gave us problem until this morning. I last used this machine yesterday and this morning as i was starting to do the laundry the water just wont hold in the machine. When i told other half that the machine needs repaired, he just told me to let it R.I.P.....he he.....

I cooked this a few days ago for lunch. Shrimps masak lemak cili api with pineapples and long beans.

Basically i just add all these in a pot:- 500gms shrimps, 200ml thick coconut milk, 100ml water, half pineapple cut as you liked, cili api+fresh tumeric about 1/2 inch pounded, tumeric leave roughly shredded....i used coarse salt to taste....make sure this mixture is stirred a few times while on the fire, if not the coconut milk would curdled. Let it boil for a couple of minutes and throw in some cut long bean....off the fire and enjoy this with hot white rice....if you have left over the next day, eat it with some lightly toasted bread hmmmm....nice

Kak Zai,
Washing machine eh? At my place, we also have one; very old, very nostalgic, it was bought very long time ago, I don't know whether I am already on this world or not by the time the washing machine was made ours. Yep, that long. But still, it serves us well. No problem at all. Of course without the fancy timer and all that, but still, it never refuse to do works.
Hey your cook looks nice la kak.
Have a nice day.

May the washing machine rest in peace... hehehe...

Yesterday my faithful 30 year old fridge died. Heart attack ke apa tak tau lah, tiba-tiba aje out. So today got myself a new fridge, and in addition to that, replaced our almost 40 year old ventilating fan in the kitchen. Dulu-dulu punya barang very tahan lah!

Zai,
The machine knows it doesn't fit into the new scheme of things knowing you are having a brand new kitchen. Only some ministers don't know when to go inspite of being told to leave by the rakyat.
What other old machines that you have in the house should be due for replacement now.

tu la Pak Zawi...kinda sad as a lot of sentimental value this machine carries ....merajuk la kot di kelilingi dinding baru ha ha ha
