Breakfast in the rain.....

Nasi lemak, karipap, puri and teh tarik. Our breakfast this morning. Eating this in one of the many mamak stalls in Seremban town and it was raining outside. It has been raining non-stop in Seremban for the past 3 days. Heard on the news that some floods
ing in several parts of the Peninsular. However, before the rain started the weather was very hot and windy for almost 3 weeks until the rain started 3 days ago.

I always love rain. When i used to play sports during my younger days, i always pray for the rain to come hard. There was one time when i played netball in one of the school in Gombak the rain was just kept on pouring and pouring. I loved it but one of my team mate slided and fell on her hand and the hand was broken. The game was stopped for awhile but later continued on and my team won it. hmmmmm......I still love the rain, its romantic and as i always say to people its only water........

Have a nice weekend!

Hello Rayban lady, alamak! I just woke up not long ago, now see your soooo tantalising breakfast, one of my favourites, you making me drool like a baby, ha ha.
I too love the rain, but! not here, back in Malaysia. Love to go fish in the rain....
By the way, the postman arrived your place? Checked your mailbox? Lee.

Zai,
Heard it rained heavily in Pasir Mas too, the kind that can bring the flood. Anyway my safe is on high ground so I wont be worried too much about being submerged by flood.
It is on such a rainy day that memories of hot fluffy boiled tapioca comes to mind. I will trade the nasi lemak for the boiled tapioca with coconut gratings.
The last time I was at Enstek Labu we had hailstorm. I noticed it was hailstorm when the sound of the raindrops seemed too loud to be water. Most of the families went out into the rain to collect the ice. It was the first experience for most of the children and grandchildren. See it takes people with experience to notice any peculiarities.

Zai,
Semasa berminat tengok menonton pasukan Malaysia bermain bola sepak (masa-masa arwah Mokhtar Dahari and gang), jika ada perlawanan penting melawan pasukan negara luar, selalu berdoa supaya hujan pada petangnya. Biasanya selepas hujan, pada malamnya, pasukan Malaysia selalu menang. Sudah biasa bermain di padang becak, agaknya!

Pak Zawi,

Didnt know about the hailstorm in Enstek. When i was young in KB those days, i waited eagerly for rainy season...my area would be a pulau where we were surrounding by water all over...what i like was when the army would used the old court house as their operation office...and my mum would even cook for some of them....how i wanted to see KB again

Zabs,

Malaysia football is in a very sad state now eh...and yes my siblings and i used to be glued to tv watching our heros the like of Mokhtar, Chin Aun, Arumugam and others...i would even followed my brothers to the stadium .....and they played well in the rain too...the ground is softer kot so diving tak berapa sakit ha ha ha......
